Chandler is our next-door neighbor

Chandler is the closest city to our 85048 base, about 16 minutes east on Chandler Boulevard.

That short drive makes Chandler an easy fit for weekly service and repair calls.

Chandler grew quickly in the 1990s and 2000s, so much of the city is master-planned neighborhoods with newer homes and plenty of backyard pools.

That runs from Ocotillo and its lakes in the south to Fulton Ranch, the streets around Chandler Fashion Center and the older blocks near downtown.

Newer pools still need steady care. Chemistry drifts in the heat no matter how new the plaster is.

The automation and variable-speed gear in newer builds also needs a trained eye when something acts up.

Local know-how

Keeping newer Chandler pools right

A lot of Chandler pools have pebble or quartz finishes, tanning ledges and water features. Each one adds surface to brush and gear to keep running.

Many Chandler neighborhoods have HOAs, and a green pool is a quick way to hear from one. Weekly service keeps the water clear and the letters away.

Summer is the real test. Long pump run times, 110-degree afternoons and monsoon dust all hit at once, and that is when a skipped week shows.
